A case report on recurrent subphrenic abscess with pulmonary tuberculosis

Subphrenic abscess though a common presentation itself encountered in surgical practice due to various cause, tubercular subphrenic the absence of coexisting tuberculous abdomen presenting as complication pulmonary tuberculosis is extremely rare. Only very few cases have been reported an extrapulmonary manifestation so far. We report case isolated sub-diaphragmatic which responded well with anti-tuberculous therapy despite all other interventions.
